Merav Eliyahu – Richmond

Merav is a registered psychologist with a Masters degree in Clinical Psychology and is a member of the Australian Psychology Society. Merav has local and international experience working with adults and adolescents from diverse cultural backgrounds, as well as in a range of settings such as community mental health centres, university counselling services and through web-based portals. Merav is trained in the psychodynamic approach and brings this knowledge of human needs, wishes, motivations and behaviour to her practice. Merav can assist people with their journey of exploring their past in order to make sense of current experiences, and in developing a deeper understanding of themselves. She is experienced in assisting people with matters such as anxiety, depression, relationship problems, life transition issues, grief and loss, complex trauma as well as other mental health concerns. With a warm, empathetic and non-judgemental interpersonal style, Merav strives to create a safe therapeutic relationship where clients feel accepted, understood and also supportively challenged.
