MICHELLE (MISHA) KARIPIDIS – CBD, Fitzroy North & Richmond

Misha

Misha (she/her) | Psychologist

Life can be complicated, and sometimes even our own thoughts can turn against us. Misha helps people untangle these patterns, rebuild confidence, and find calm that lasts. With master’s degrees in both communications and professional psychology, she brings a practical yet deeply human approach to therapy.

Her work is grounded, conversational, and tailored to you. Misha supports adults, adolescents and families experiencing anxiety, panic, OCD, depression (including long-term low mood), trauma, addiction, disordered eating, insomnia, relationship difficulties (including couples), and neurodivergence such as Autism and ADHD.

She draws on evidence-based modalities including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Schema Therapy, Motivational Interviewing and Psychodynamic frameworks. The first few sessions are spent understanding your story and identifying what’s getting in the way of change- together building a plan that fits your goals and pace.

Misha provides psychological assessments and written reports in specific circumstances only. She is committed to inclusive and respectful care, and continues to deepen her professional development in sexuality, cultural sensitivity, and ethical digital practice. Regular supervision and ongoing education form a core part of her work to ensure high-quality, ethical care.

She consults from Richmond, Fitzroy North, Melbourne CBD and Telehealth.

Outside the therapy room, Misha can usually be found reading multiple psychology books at once, at the gym, or searching for the next great Melbourne event or restaurant, usually with an oat latte in hand.
