Alex is a registered Psychologist who has completed a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology in Canada and a Master’s degree in Forensic Psychology in Australia. Alex has experience working in Canada and Australia across a variety of settings. Her training in Forensic Psychology has provided her with skills and experience in working with anger issues, interpersonal violence, and trauma work with victims of crime. In addition, Alex has extensive experience working with anxiety, phobias, depression, trauma, relationship/interpersonal difficulties, transition/adjustment, workplace stress and Employee Assistance Programs. Alex’s approach is collaborative, empathic, non-judgemental and open-minded. She assists clients according to their individual needs and draws upon several therapeutic approaches including: Emotion-Focused Therapy, Client-Centered Therapy, Schema Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and Mindfulness and relaxation techniques.
