Ashley (she/her) is a provisional psychologist who completed the Master of Professional Psychology at Australian Catholic University. Prior to this, she completed her Graduate Diploma of Psychology (Advanced) at Monash University, and Bachelor of Psychological Science at La Trobe University.
Ashley has worked in human behaviour and mental health for the past 4 years as a behaviour specialist with individuals across the lifespan. This consists of assessing and treating behaviours of concern, mainly in those living with disabilities, neurodiversity, developmental disorders, and mental illness.
Ashley has a special interest in emotional regulation skill building to manage concerns around anxiety, anger, and stress, namely through mindfulness-based techniques. She also has a special interest in neurodiversity (ASD, ADHD, etc), interpersonal issues, and self-esteem building. Ashley works with various treatment modalities such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy.
With exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, and a fresh up-to-date education, Ashley hopes to enhance the lives of others dynamically, collaboratively, and empathetically. Ashley’s practice is LGBTQIA+ inclusive, sex positive, and accepting of those from all walks of life.
