Trish, a Board Registered General Psychologist with over 25 years’ experience, supports individuals 18+, couples, family (single session or brief therapy), groups, experiencing problems with anxiety, panic, depression, relationships, grief & loss, trauma, life transition, personal growth, quitting problem gambling or smoking. She has been published regarding support of people impacted by problem gambling and smoking, and in the use of hypnosis as adjunct treatment.
Clients describe Trish as warm, and when appropriate, uses gentle humour and challenging to identify, understand, and develop better ways of coping, managing and enhancing well-being. She works from a client-centred, solution-focussed base; draws on cognitive behavioural therapy, schema, trauma, motivational-interviewing, mindfulness, narrative, relationship frameworks, Clinical Hypnosis, and is trained in Radical Exposure Tapping® (RET) Level II Advanced Practice, an effective treatment to resolve memories of disturbing events that fuel PTSD, anxiety, fears, and emotional reactivity. Over telehealth & email follow up, Trish provides visual and written aids to support progress and consolidate self-management.
