Olivia is a registered psychologist with a Masters degree in Psychology (Forensic). She has experience in counselling individuals and facilitating group based treatments across a number of settings. It is important to Olivia to provide an open, warm and non-judgemental space for clients so that they feel safe and comfortable discussing problems. She is therefore a client centred therapist who strives to collaboratively assist people in achieving their therapeutic goals.
Olivia is experienced in working with people across the lifespan who present with a range of concerns including depression, anxiety, anger, grief and loss, trauma, relationship issues, self-esteem and identity issues, and substance use issues, among others. To ensure that treatment is tailored to an individual’s unique needs, she uses a blend of evidence based theory and treatment. Olivia regularly attends professional development seminars and conferences, which allows her to stay up to date with current research in providing positive and effective therapeutic experiences for clients. Olivia is also well-practiced in psychological assessments and report writing (child and youth intellectual assessment, adult intellectual assessment, personality assessment, violent risk assessments, and personality assessments).
