Blake is a registered general psychologist currently completing an endorsement program to become a Clinical Psychologist after having obtained a Masters Degree in Clinical Psychology. He has gained experience working with adults and older adults across various settings including public mental health in Emergency Departments, Acute Inpatient Wards and Community Residential Units, in addition to private practice. Blake has also worked with adolescents in the private practice setting. He utilises various symptom, personality and diagnostic assessments, and provides counselling and psychological therapy. Blake has and would like to continue helping individuals overcome difficulties ranging from acute to chronic and from mild to severe including; suicidality and self-harming; addictions and other unhelpful behaviours; depression, anxiety and stress; low self-esteem; grief and loss; trauma; life transition; relationship difficulties; and various mental disorders including anxiety, depressive, bipolar, obsessive-compulsive related, trauma and stress related, and personality disorders. Blake is trained in, and continues to develop several evidence based approaches including, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Schema Therapy, Mindfulness and Neuropsychotherapy. Blake is an empathic and collaborative therapist, who provides a safe and judgement free environment for clients who are seeking to improve their mental health and overall wellbeing through a combination of skills development and building awareness of their ‘here and now’ experiences and their individual history which lead them walk through his door.
