Blake is a registered general psychologist who has obtained a Masters Degree in Clinical Psychology. He has gained experience working with adolescents and adults in both private and public mental health settings, conducting varied assessments, and providing counselling and psychological therapy. Blake has worked with individuals presenting with both acute and long-standing difficulties including; suicidality and self-harming behaviour; addictions; depressive, anxiety and stress symptoms; low self-esteem; grief and loss; trauma; and life transition issues. Blake is trained in, and continues to develop several evidence based approaches including, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Schema Therapy, Mindfulness and Neuropsychotherapy. Blake is open to working with individuals presenting with a broad range of difficulties, however, he has an interest in working with; depressive, stress and anxiety concerns; trauma; behavioural addictions; and those dealing with low self-esteem and grief or loss. Blake is an empathic therapist, who provides a safe and judgement free environment for clients seeking to work collaboratively to develop a deeper understanding of themselves, and the skills to improve their mental health and overall wellbeing.
