Allie has worked in the healthcare sector for 13 years. She has a PhD in psychology, with a focus on mindfulness-based treatment of insomnia (RMIT University), and a post-graduate diploma in psychotherapy (Cairnmillar Institute). Allie utilises a wide range of therapeutic interventions from approaches such as: interpersonal psychotherapy; cognitive behaviour therapy; mindfulness, acceptance and commitment therapy; dialectical behaviour therapy; schema therapy; and narrative therapy. She is passionate about helping clients improve authentic connection within their relationships. Allie strives to create a therapeutic space where people feel comfortable and understood, so that they can create meaningful changes in their lives.
